Are You In A Healthy Relationship Or Are You In A Habit That Is Hard To Break?

Are You In A Healthy Relationship Or Are You In A Habit That Is Hard To Break? There are some people who liken a relationship to an addiction. If the addiction is hard to break and there is nothing that can be done, then that relationship is most likely doomed. A relationship should never be likened to a habit or an addiction, it should be likened to freedom and acceptance.

Finding the right man or the right woman is not as easy as it may sound. In fact, it can be one of the most difficult things to do or have. This can lead to a point of desperation for many. The first person who seems interested with them is immediately seen as a likely candidate to being ‘the one’ and this can pose some problems. In the desperate need to have a relationship, even if the danger signals are erupting left and right, they are ignored and slapped down. This is all in a bid to make the relationship work. Things like ex back system may work at such times. Many even compromise and give up their own identities to make the relationship last longer, but if one were to really dig deep into themselves, they know that they are neither in love or even like the other person.

The continued relationship has become a habit, one that is very hard to break for fear of loss and being lonely. Take for example a craving for a stick of cigarette or even just a cup of coffee. Despite the fact that both are absolutely the worst tasting and smelling things, still, in the bid to become one with society, smoking and drinking coffee is forced upon the person. After a while, you ‘learn’ to like it and eventually your body learns to crave for the presence in life.

The absence is definitely healthier and yet there is a fear of letting go because of the eventual withdrawal symptoms. This addiction or habit should never be between two or more people. If there is no love, liking, trust or even understanding between the individuals, then there is no, in all honesty, any relationship. This is a hard habit that should be broken. Unfortunately, by this point, it can become so unhealthy that it is very difficult to break off whatever this ‘relationship’ may be.

The only way to do this breaking is to sever all ties. Just like kicking a cigarette or caffeine addiction, cold turkey is best. Hesitating will only lengthen the pain.
